What is the 'proper' ruling on music in islam.
I've gone to numerous website all have varying opinions:
Some say music is haraam full stop. others say only the music that promotes sex, drugs and violence (so basically rap, hiphop, R&B, pop etc) is haraam...

I think he is one of best islamic musician so far. And he is a great example for all muslims he became muslim but now he is more muslim than many muslim born people .
