This was trip number 30 in the lost village field more than 150 detecting hours over the last two months. Its been a great field and wooded area to search in but this was the last search for now.
Its time to move on to the next field not that far away...

Always like to find musket balls, never found any pin fire caps

Out on pasture today.
Today was unlike any other day I've had - I dug up 49 musket balls - my previous "best" was 2 in a session.
All the same size and very similar weights - approx 16mm in diameter and weighing between 21g and 22g

I have a Remington .58 Cal Zouave Rifle (reproduction), looking for the right percussion Cap for this rifle.
CCI #10's and 11's are way to small.

Why? Is it just because the logo is in caps? I mean, LEGO doesn't stand for anything like U.S.A. does! Maybe we just do it because it appears in caps...

Yes, you can buy some parts for them: http in washington we are limited to #11 and musket caps only.
