I can that may be able to help you find musket caps or powder.
I have been told that the #11 mag cap from CCI is hotter than their current musket cap.
Anymore.

This was trip number 30 in the lost village field more than 150 detecting hours over the last two months. Its been a great field and wooded area to search in but this was the last search for now. Its time to move on to the next field not that far away...

Musket bore was between .70 and .80 calibre musket ball found nothing....

What part of the state are you in? There's a reenactment in the SFV this weekend and you could pick up caps there.
