Yes, lower gear (higher numerical number) gives more torque and the opposite gives more top....
I also considered a 7112/1835 setup on the Yunick Mustang the part number if your interested.
It still seems to work okay though.

Would installing 4.10 gears in a manual transmission v6 mustang be worth it? i know nothing about them what so ever. this might be a dumb question lol.

Adding 4:11 gears to the differential will make it a little faster especially if you plan to race but a step in the right direction.Look at the car magazines web sites & the mustang forums..

Waiting for the T-Lock.
Gears and installation kit came in today.
He's a great guy the rear from having it assembled .
I would not thin twice about bringing another vehicle to mike for a gear install.
