I am thinking of visiting Myrtle Beach area this summer with my husband and kids and was wondering what the difference is between Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach. Can anyone suggest a medium size beach front family hotel/resort? Thanks.

Feel free to email me if you, ocean front ... .
It is located in Myrtle beach.
The resort is 32 acres gated with private security, volleyball, beach bar, gaemrooms, etc.
My unit is at the Myrtle Beach Resort.

We go into Mrytle beach but way to manyOnHoliday....
And I like the Cerry Grove area of North Myrtle Beach.
If you can think outside of the Myrtle Beach box, just north (about + years.
Commercial and more family-friendly.

Hi Trying to arrange a stay at Myrtle Beach but don't want the crowds, should we look at Beaufort instead. This will be the first week of June.

You also choices of places to stay....
You can go to Beaufort , there will not be crowds like Myrtle Beach.
Highways and also some local roads are clogged with traffic the likes of which even Myrtle Beach in July does not have.

Even if you decide on Florida , no guarantee....
Hi Jason, yes it will get colder than the 60's, January may have days that are high 60's also may have days that the temp does not go above 40, it's a roll of the dice and one that I would wait a few months for .

Beach traffic, ironically ;) Honestly, I avoid 95 north of Richmond like the plague.
Google maps puts Saturday.
39 runs into 501 near Myrtle Beach.
To route 38 into SC just north of Bennetsville.
