This was one of my first neps and shortly after I bought it someone told me (I believe it was Wire-man) that It was probably not a true N. alata, and that in fact it was most likely a N. ventrata. So I emailed the place that I got it from...

Ventricosa doesn't have standard Ventrata the plant sold as "N.
N.
There are wings on it.

I'm familiar with which species make good house plants, but what hybrids do you recommend for growing on windowsills or under lights indoors? And not ventrata or miranda because I know of those already.

Some species FYI that work nicely are N.
Spectabilis x aristolochioides also works nicely.
I find that N.
'Lady Pauline' is really easy on a windowsill, and would work under lights too .

Thagirion, that is the exact same box I picked up my N.
I chopped the vine up they bother to.
It has done well for me, flowering twice.
It was straight Ventricosa, not ventrata.

May need to up the light on the ceph a bit, but green ... .
Everything else looks great though.
Looks like it's just not acclimating.
May just save it's life.
I'd recommend sticking it in a 2.5 gallon ziplock bag, giving it a nice mist, and sealing it up. .
