Ok a recently have saved up some money and almost have enough to buy something...Is this a good buy...the 500 nes games cost 2,000 and the 266 cost 999...this is a lot of cash and the collections have no duplicates...

Does Nintendo hold the licensing rights for porting all NES and SNES games? Because now that I think about it, there aren't ports of any games on these two systems for any non-Nintendo platform.
The only ones I can think of are the FF collections on PS...

I think they stripped all mention of Nintendo from the game of NES and SNES games....
Super Ghouls and Ghosts on the Capcom collection was an SNES game.
They contain some titles originally debuted on NES/SNES.
On Playstation or Xbox.

Just got an original NES. Store owner tried to convice me to buy the third-party emulator instead, but I just had to have the original. Anyway, part of me wished I listened as I'm having issues with consistently getting the NES to not just blink.
