I got a call from an FFL regarding a purchase, that the State Police did not have my CC record. Huh ? I've bought guns before with that permit. I think someone up there doesn't know what they're doing. Stumped.

I don't know how the State Police at your state police...
I rechecked my CCW number the FFL gave them, and it was correct .

The problem is that NJ is a "may issue" concealed carry license state, whereas most states are "shall issue applicable in NJ, a state not noted for embracing human rights.
