Why does the nails on my cockatiels feet not grow? its 6 weeks now
other ways its healthy
do i have to give it a mineral or vitamin or some leaves
pls answer my other question about this cockatiel too

I do all my nail trimmings at home.

My nails aren't fab, I used to be a swimming teacher and taught in the pool all the time up until I started this new job in Jan (teaching computing )

I watched just a couple minutes of the BE show and it looked like Gabrielle is badly in need of a fill. Why on Earth would someone appear on TV with red nails if they had obvious outgrowth? I remember when the Q hosts were so polished and professional...

Just be sure to let them know that he's growled for a trim- if needed put a muzzle... .
My pup hated having her nails trimmed when she was real young to trim their nails, but do just fine for a groomer.
Of course he'll react negatively...

Just wondering what the best time frame is to have this done? I groom Taycie myself and I can do everything except her feet. She does not like it at all and I get to nervous I'm going to get her quick.

I hated using the nail clippers & this filing method is fast and keeps the nails nice?
I use little cat clippers on ....
But I know others say the nails grow faster for them last done.
I go about every 6 weeks with my girls.
