Hi all would like a ball joint narrowed beam for my 71! Preferably 4 inch but a 2 would do!
Don't need leaves or spindles as will be using ones of my beam!

Anyone have a pic of a bug that has been slammed with 8 spokes and a narrowed beam? Just curious as to what it would look like. I have 8 spokes on 195/50s with drop spindles and want a narrowed and adjustable beam but cans find any pics of this setup

Ok i bought a 2in narrowed beam from cb performance and the narrowed leaf springs for my ball joint front end which by the way is a 67 bug. i was able to get the new beam on but when installing the leaf springs i am having a problem. i have the leaf spring...

Nope i tried that already what do you mean when you put the trailing arms on, the grub screw is opposite where it should be? Like just isnt close enough or totally in the wrong... .
Is it possible that you swapped the left and right arms? That could do it .

I know this is topic that is circulated weekly - my apologies upfront.
However, my plan is to run 3.5 adjustable narrowed beam, with CB Performance disk brakes, drop spindles and likley 15x5 Fuchs on a 66 chassis.
Question - Is it possible to fit 16x5...

I'm using 145/65/15s on 4.5 fuchs with a 4.5 bagged beam, with drop spindles and discs and I can check out the thread.
And disc brakes you will widen the track about 1.5" I believe, but the beam will give you another 2 inches tire.

ta I brought it off ebay last year, it came but they didn't actually build the beam anyway, someone sold two to them, the guy at the garage was running one problems as he was running drop spindles....
