I'm going with some friends on a trip in June to San Francisco and Los Angeles and we wanted to pass by one the National Parks.... we don't have many days so we want to spend 2 days at Yosemite National Park or Sequoia National Park. Can anyone that...

Yosemite is a VERY popular park with a short season so accommodations go quickly and months in advance to overnight in the park and in the area (I love The Yosemite Bug (http://www.yosemitebug.com) is a nice & cheap lodging place outside....

I know they had a hard winter last year which may account... .
Im sure that the locals will repond soon but in the mean time, we were there on May 28th last year and both lake Louise and Moraine were still frozen, and snow still quite deep around the lake hikes .

It's easy that want to visit National Parks will visit them regadless of fees.
In the Victorian Alps, most of it in the Alpine National Park, and I don't feel at all restricted.

Keep in mind that Yellowstone does....
Durango , Ouray , Mesa Verde National Park , Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Colorado National, I would go to RMNP, Yellowstone, or Glacier National Park.

We are going to be in Corner Brook off a cruise. Our ship lands at 8:00 and leaves at 5:00 so we have to be back at 4:15 at the latest. I would love to drive to Gros Morne National Park. Does it make any sense or am I going to spend most of my day driving...

You definitely have time for the southern part of the park (Tableland.
In my opinion it helps to get out in Corner Brook any day .
3/4 3-4 hour drive for 3-4 hours in the park, not sure.

I think the choices in the park are limited.
Otherwise you are stuck accommodations a bit closer than Hilo (B&B or rentals) .
The park is big, and you definitely need a vehicle.
First: rent a car.

That would be eight hours without snow or slush (winter), moose (year-round) or construction (June to September) and without any real meal stops .
