I am getting set to head up north (Iron River, WI) to our lake house. It is on a chain of 7 lakes each one ranging from 80 acres to almost 200 acres each. Years ago the lakes where invested with Rusty Crays and allot of its vegetation was gone affecting...

I have also skied down Iron Mnt! Hope if the LMB will overrun SMB I would say no to that in larger lakes.
The Chain of lakes I fished those lakes as a kid growing up.

Right ive fished this natural lake now for 4 years and never had a carp out ! We have seen them basking on the top tried floating bait didnt work, any advice on what baits to use to catch them and methods ?
At the moment im on the in line method feeder...

One came to floaters, which bait dump such as 1/4 - 1/2 pint of maggots or casters (natural baits seem to work best for me.
My local lake sounds pretty similar and I've only ever had 2 carp out.
