I have exactly the same thing. My neck grinds and cracks with weird noises when I turn my head from side to side. I did head MRI and it was normal. My pcp doesn't know, but she suspect arithritis. Maybe someone else have the same issues with some...

I can make the same sound if I forcefully bend my neck in one direction or another.
Majority of peoples neck pain is unassociated with cracking ).
And totally unrelated to the crackling noises.

I crack all over the place too, even my chest.
i was told that it has a lot to do with a lifestyle. i do absolutely no physical activity. so every time i stretch my joints crack.
i would sugest yoga ;)

I have always had that too and was interested to see your description. It really is like a rushing sound/feeling at the back of the neck Cervical spondylosis

Ok, this is driving me crazy and now I'm getting "worried" about it because its not going away. Whenever I turn or move my head I can "hear" the bones in my neck make like these little popping/crackling sounds. It doesn't hurt at all but I'm scared this...

Infact I just had a bad flare up of it with... .
My guess is estrogen levels dropping and making joints.
Nothing there.
I had an xray done of my head, neck, and spine.
I carry a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders.
Out makes it much worse.
