Has anyone out there used a neti pot on board ship?
Does anyone out there use a neti pot? I have found that it is one of the best things for managing my chronic sinusitis. I have never used it on board, but during the last few cruises that we have taken...

It's about tap water. Spinning this story to be about neti pots, rather than about shortcomings in basic public infrastructure, is plain irresponsible. I don't use a neti pot and I have doubts about them being of any use at all. But the real concern here...

I use reverse osmosis water and sea salt for the Neti pot, because the water pharmacy.
If you think it doesn't work, you haven't tried extremely expensive fluoride .

DUDE. I have an awful sinus headache that's been going on since Sunday. I've tried a steamy shower, using heat to relieve the pain. applying pressure... but nothing is getting rid of it.

In high school I use to get really bad allergies & I use to eat Sudafed like candy. After high school, my allergies, for the most part, disappeared. I would still get the occasional symptoms, but they would be gone in a day or too. That was until 2 weeks...

I did that that helped a lot too (if not better sometimes than the neti pot - not quite sure why..) It can burn if you throat which....
I had a nasty cold/allergy combo a couple weeks ago, and was using the neti pot like crazy.

Any squeeze bottle will do.
With the neti I got from the States it came with a saline and baking soda like mix to soften the harshness but obviously salt is the main ingredient.

Only use distilled or boiled tap water in Neti pots. Unboiled tap water may carry an amoeba that can pass the blood brain barrier and cause death.

I use one with regularity but the past few days it has burned like heck when I use it. I haven't changed anything, same amount of salt and same temp of water, though I do notice I'm feeling like I've got a cold coming on. Anyone have experience with this...

Just two uses of the Neti pot cleared up.
How do you prepare and all the nasal moisturizers in the world didn't help .
I bought a neti pot recently, but haven't integrated it into my routine.
