Question I am specing out a new Design Technology building for an educational establishment, the current request is for PCs "without a base unit", not sure if these would be described as All-In-One PC's, Monitors integrated into base units, or PC integrated...

It also makes upgrading an expensive proposition.
Sense from a business standpoint because they are expensive and if they go bad you have to replace the whole thing.

I work for a web agency and we often have to demonstrate stuff on a 32" LCD thats connected to a old nettop/miniPC. It's pretty slow, and was wondering if anyone could recommend something that is:

One way to immediately reduce the noise of any type of PC is to ditch fan-based cooling systems, but hopefully it should perform a lot better with Windows 7
