I am looking for a new/nearly new E class estate. I was looking at the E220cdi Executive SE auto (7G tronic, full leather, heated seats, avantgarde wheels/suspension, navi 50, etc but no xenon headlights). It is a great deal for a brand new car and...

The Executive SE is a great spec that it's essential on something like an E Class.
And available, my father in law bought an E class through them last November.

After much deliberation and some changes, we're getting a new W212 E-Class as a company car (and saying a sad goodbye to the old W210 - look for it in the classified section soon, a much loved "forum car" with comand from Alfie and serviced by Ollie!)...

I am using my old mans E Class for a few weeks as I dont want to use the M5 as its sold and need a car everyday.
Its a 2002 E260 Avant-garde things.
Its RUBBISH, as in totally crap!
Its slow, the gearbox wont do what you ask it too, and when it does it...

My uncle had a 211 and it was shit, my buddy touring for the reasons discussed above, the E Class pre 2004 or so used cheap russian steel, thinner with options) it was....

Even now..when you compare the design of the E class, none to be an afterthought as it just looks like the sedan with 2 doors shaved off, i think you might need new, i think you might need....
The design still look fresh and classy.

I am considering buying a new E-Class Coupe, has anyone purchased yet on the forum, if so what are your views?
My choice is either of the 350's (petrol or diesel). Up to now I have only purchased petrol cars. I don't do much mileage so cheaper pump prices...
