The only explanation given for the names Old and New Testaments is this: It may mean 'testament' (in the sense of 'last will and testament'), but it may also mean covenant'. It is used frequently in the Greek Bible. Thanks!

Why would some person on yahoo answers say that many New Testament stories exist from the old Testament? This is completely false. Although morals do, the stories are TOTALLY different. Please clarify this.

Which moment is considered the beginning of the New Testament era? Is it the Last Supper ("This is the cup of the New Testament"), the Resurrection or something else? I think John the Baptist still belongs to the Old Testament.

The LDS claim to be christian, however they don't teach or discuss anything other than The Gospels, Acts and Revelations to their members. It seems to me they cannot keep the New Testament in context and have it correlate with Joseph Smith's teachings...
