What is the best brand to buy for a nice camera? I want a camera that is good for photography and want to know what the best brand to buy is so i dont waste my money.

They are mostly the same, different looks and costs, but all are very competitive... .
There are others like fujifilm and sony but I believe the best are Canon and Nikon .
The bests are Canon and Nikon (Imo at least)
I prefer Canon, but they both do pretty well .

Got a Nikon Coolpix P500 and it's a really nice digital non-SLR. It's advertised for amateurs, but I love it and I've been using cameras for 50 yrs. The body is similar to a slr, and with my good hand grip I can hold it steadier than a cigarette box-size...
