Tell me a little about tumbling fur. Do you do it after they are stretched and dryed or before? What are the Pros and Cons?

I am lucky and have a guy close by that does custom fur procesing I drop my rats off and he skins them for me and freezes them ,then I stretch them later on when I have time, rats are esy to skin on the trap line.

Borax- 5 minutes Brushing and making the fur look nice- 5 minutes 50 minutes or so I guess.

Was skinning some fox and they had some blood on the fur.Usually dont wash the fur before i freeze them but decided to try it out on one.So washed it in the sink and my wife put it in the washer on the spin cycle and then put it in the dryer on low heat...

Due to the current Economic conditions, the light at the end if the tunnel has been turned OFF! when I tumbled fur, I used,and she put it through the spin cycle....
If you washed the fox, then put it in the dryer, When did do you stretch it.

Also that came out real nice ....
They also make a stretch vinyl wiring under that "monkey fur" so don't just assume that you can strip it out and paint.
Will not be rough to the touch and if you want you can put the liner on later .

This is brilliant Tom, the flick version is much better, really nice colours and an awesome amount cropped Background Neut, DBE, Col Cal, and Histogram stretch.

Did you look the cat over closely before from the lower belly...now that is a bummer when doing a nice big cat I'm happy with the way it turned out.
Works great for me.
I dry them fur out, very dry climate.
