DS1 is 6.5 and has been having night terrors for more than 6 months. They happen almost every night although we've had a few weeks where we've thought they had passed (never more than a week).
I've spoken to the GP and the paed. Both said there was nothing...

Hora junior seems to have them alot. No matter what you do hes screaming, running around and kicking. Usually starts about 2am with him calling for his mum. Then screams for say upto 2hours. Last night utterly wore me out. Is there anything at all that...

It wasn't a scary dream to me..
In fact, I've dreamed of my father only once (that I recall) in my entire life and that was recently....he held a gun to my face and fired three times but the gun just clicked .

Night terrors can occur each night if the sufferer does not eat a proper diet. Adult night terrors are much less common and areoften trauma-based. ChaCha

There is nothing wrong with you for not having night terrors this too.
It doesn't have to be visual.
I very seldom remember my and smells.
I take medication for the night terrors now and it helps.
It differently.

Is he actually remembering what happens? A typical night terror occurs in deep sleep and usually there's no memory the next morning which to bed or....
This with a child but I've experienced night terrors and other parasomnias.

It was definately back to 'old school'. As a child I also hid behind the sofa and I can see many a kid doing it for this episode.
The only small glitch I found that if the dolls touched you, your turned into one of them, so why didnt the Dad or the kid...
