I am curious as to what anyone has heard about finger paints. I asked our dietician and she said that fingerpaint "should be ok, as it is nontoxic" but I was hoping for something more definitive than that :-/. Crayola does not put a list of ingredients...

The questions is, does this starch get absorbed through skin? No one has performed a study on this therefore we rely on reports from people to base an opinion .
Non-toxic paints are ususally made with a base of starch like cornstarch.

Unlike Mungyo, there's no mention of "NonToxic.
Prices are quite low on some SoHo products and if I don't like them I'll give them to a student .

Silicone is also chemically inert, nontoxic and won't damage paint like conventional brake fluid.
