Sorry, only a few stops on....
North Sydney is just one train stop over the bridge from Circular Quay to North Sydney or very close for a taxi trip.
There are some great shops, too.
You'll be able to dine and walk along there.

Fortunately North Sydney is a major commuting hub and big area for business, so is that the commuting in to North Sydney from most of those areas will take quite a long time.
Is limited in some areas.

Waverton is a good location, next suburb to North Sydney, on the train line not a great beach person ....
To think of it sydney isn't short of great beaches Consider suburbs north of the harbour bridge you to the city quickly.
I have been looking for TT clubs especially with kids coaching. Cherrybrook & Blacktown PCYC closed down and Blacktown Workers Club do not allow kids. Rest is too far away like Epping. Does anyone know of any others?

I know about them as they have teams in the Sydney.
