I just spend the good part of the afternoon trying to find out why some projects, when compiled and run from within the Delphi-2010 IDE produced a 'Security Risk - A program is behaving suspiciously on your computer' warning every time I compiled it.

On My Laptop, norton recently downloaded and a window popped up and asked to install upgrade to the newer version of norton. I seen the email from comcast, telling me this was coming. So I clicked install, and it installed it, But!

I've factory restored quite a few laptops recently and out of habit I uninstall the Norton internet security that comes with the laptop and install something else, usually Microsoft security essentials. I was thinking though, has Norton gotten better ...

MS security essentials has a habit of crashing and causing havoc when it does....
AVG completely misses stuff, but isn't a resource hog.
I'm convinced CA for it.
Minor issues from time to time - especially the active network scan/security).
