If you assume each is a root note, then just play the chord which corresponds to that note on the b string (that's a D note), and you want to know what chord you should play that has that note that should....

Personally are asking.
About patterns made up of chord scales, not note scales, and not arpeggios either, although arpeggios need to outline the chord with notes and I think that may be what you are referencing.
