As sad as that sounds, that's all we have to try to experience Nova Scotia. We are driving in from Bar Harbor on the 8th of Sept. and have to be back in Boston for our flight out on the 13th. Please help us decide what would be the best use of our time...

Just so you know… there is no longer ferry service between Portland Maine and Yarmouth Nova Scotia… so from Bar Harbour your options speed limits.

The coast of NS is more settled, perhaps tamer, friendlier, altogether different .
Island, particularly Pacific Rim National Park is very wild, with breakers rolling in from Japan .
