It has an air-conditioned inside area with plenty/Restaurant_Review-g154267-d20… Where are you staying in Nuevo? There is a small sports bar (with great pub is looking for a place to watch....

We will be at the Grand Luxxe Nuevo Vallarta in July and are certified scuba divers. The GL at Riviera Maya has its own dive shop on the resort premises. Any experience with scuba diving out of Nuevo Vallarta

I used Vallarta Adventures who's premises are in Nuevo, booked through my tour rep at the hotel ( Riu Vallarta ) I was very impressed by how proffesional they were, especially the DM Oswaldo.

If they aren´t available try Amigo them: I refer to La Lancha, on the road to Punta Mita, at Punta Mita (Nuevo Corral de Risco to the airport.
Go with Gecko if you are staying in Nuevo Vallarta.

It seems that the Mayan Palace is closed for construction or demolition, so where are they sending guests that are booked? They are still booking rooms through RCi. It seems strange. Anyone know what happens when you book at the Mayan Palace? Thanks, ...

Guests who get to pay less for their rooms for a Nuevo Vallarta stay? To me, this seems unfair owner wants to come to stay at Nuevo Vallarta , then book WELL AHEAD.

Is it easy to get from the RIU Palace or RIU Vallarta into Puerto Vallarta ? Bus available? Any walking from the RIU's to close bars or restaurants outside of hotel in the area or are these hotels isolated? Thanks!!

And in general, yes the resorts in Nuevo are also better than the ones in Puerto and restaurants.
Well yes the beaches are indeed a lot nicer in Nuevo Vallarta than Puerto Vallarta .
Without spending huge cab $$.
