Hi,
Im currently rebuilding my AGU 1.8T looking for around 350 bhp with possibly evrything i can find for relaibility.
Im going for solid lifters, & would like to hear from people what are their experiances/ views & from where they got their items

Stock OEM lifters (in good shape) with quality valve springs: : i was told that i might....
Cause i was told that i might have trouble using OEM hydraulic lifters with the stiffer supertech valve which you seem to have covered.

Ok I found OEM Hydraulic Roller lifters for newer sb's on Summit Racing:

These lifters are brand new in the box and each lifter is individually wrapped.
Fits 1984-1999 Evolution 1340-equipped models and 1986-1990 XL models
Retail all four would run $200

We all know not to reuse flat tappet lifters on a new cam but what about rollers? I have a 40 000 mile Comp hydraulic roller and am in need of new lifters. You can see by looking at the cam lobes that they're worn. Nothing you can feel with your fingertips...

William of the extra work involved in installing it.
Numquam ponenda est pluralitas sine necessitate.
Flat tappet always need to go back it back into a motor, new lifters OR old.
Used roller lifters are ok to run on a used roller cam.

I am ordering a custom cam ground by TSP in the near future and plan on using the Lunati/Morel link bar lifters (LNT72332) http://hinsonsupercars.com/p-1174-lu...-link-bar.aspx
I will of course be measuring for proper push rod length, but since I'm doing...

7.400 It looks like people are running 7.4s on stock stock lifters, so wouldn't I want to go 7.350 have put these lifters in and found out what there length was on a comp cam/TSP base circle, or who guess at what it's going to be, I have....

Anyone use them let alone in a SBF
I have been spinning the OEM Eatons to 6800 on my current setup from Comp that was said to go to 7200 with the beehives and Ti parts
I am comparing the 877-16 Comps to the Ford Racing R302H...

Damaged that pair of lifters replacement lifters....
Is an oem roller lifter with a link bar,more or less This is what Lunati sent me to replace the ones of the rivits holding the link bar wasnt installed properly and fell apart.
