Hi
I just replaced my odometer reset button and I thought everything was ok. Only to find out that while driving, the odometer and the speedometer both are not registering mileage anymore.
Does this have something to do with the installation of the odometer...

Sounds exactly like the cog has gone in the speedo unit, they are easy to replace just a five minute job, there are two types electronic and manual speedo units qhich have you? i have cogs for electronic in my garage .

I've tried following the owners manual to reset the trip odometer on our 2010 450 ATVs with no luck. I've held down the bottom right button on the digital dash and it didn't reset. Any ideas? Thanks

Ever since a mechanic had my tank off the last time to adjust my lifters, my odometer trip meter keeps resetting itself. Sometimes it'll show a higher or lower mileage, sometimes it zeros out, sometimes it switches to the second trip meter or the odometer...

What he said if none of that works you might have to replace the reset button on top left of speedo.I tried all the guys said above and it still did not work so I replaced the trip reset..

Checked the numbers several times the odo reset....
The odometer works but the trip will get hung up on reset a lot of times.
They usually break when the odo reset button is pushed.
The gear has probably crumbled from age.

The odometer on my 1987 targa suddenly stopped working this morning. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot the problem would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to take a stab at fixing it myself, if it's not too difficult, before taking it in for repair...

How do we reset the oil mileage on odometer?
I was talking to someone and he said you hold down the reset button turn key on and follow the directions?
I did it but didn't work anyone know how please help...

3) Continue to hold (TB), the number "15A and release

I just picked up my car from a shop from having the oil changed. When I put my key in the ignition it shows the odometer mileage. When I start the car it shows the temperature and direction as usual but instead of the odometer it now shows the "B" trip...

I have owned the car for 5 years....
Duh! I guess you have to be smarter than the reset button and that left me out! Your suggestion solved the problem.
Just press and release the trip button will cycle you from A to B to odometer.
