Howdy folks. I'm about to buy an SWR golight 4x10 and am deciding between the 4 ohm and the 8 ohm. I rarely do gigs where I need more than one cabinet so I could probably get away with the 4 ohm, but then I'd lose the flexibility to add another cab if...

I have an Alpine PDX-4 amp that is rated at 4X100W into 4 (or 2) ohms, 2X200 watts bridged into 4 ohms. I was planning on bridging it and running two 4ohm subs at 200 watts. The subs I bought were two Alpine SWS-1043D subs, which were advertised as 4 ...

That's 2 ohms TOTAL.
Them in parallel and bridge the amp it will be at 2 ohms mono (equivalent to 1 ohm stereo) which be very minor.

I have a powerbass 800.2 and I have 2 12's p3013 kenwoods 4ohm. If I run the 2 12's paralleled and then connect it to my bridged powerbass, will that take it to 2ohms. The amp says not to connect total impedance under 4ohms so does that mean I have to...

My Calais-V In the manual....
The only way to get 2 ohm is to use ONE sub with the coils wired in parallel.
Coils in parallel & subs in parallel is 1 ohm overall.
Coils in series & subs in parallel is 4 ohm overall.
It can't be done.

When you have a 2 channel amplifier that is 2 ohm stable and is bridgeable, does that mean that you can bridge it at 2 ohms?
Or does it mean you can run 2 ohms on each channel, and 4 ohms bridged?
