How do you reset the "check engine" light on a Toyota Camry '99 after an oil change? i changed the oil by myself and the manual doesn't say how to reset the maintenance light off

Then with the engine off you hold....
But if its the check engine light.
Make sure its the "Oil Change the oil change warning light, John's answer is true.
Know if the procedure is similar for the '99 -- it sure isn't intuitive .

It may take a couple of times.
Turn the key off and then start it.
Turn the key to the ON (do not start) position and fully push the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds .

I have change the oil for my 2007 FatBoy, but the oil change light/indicator is still on. does any know how to reset this indicator?

There is nothing to reset Motorcycles need a oil change light?? WTF!??? Do they need a licensed mechanic to do your battery for a few minutes and see if that resets it.

Either U low on oil or an elc issueThe oil light generally indicates no oil pressure! Is the engine making noise? Then U have other.
Problems, cause there is no reset on Ur bike like cagers have..

Does anyone know how to reset the change oil light that comes on every 5k. I roll a 06 IS 250 and dont feel like paying dealer prices for something that simple.

I just changed my oil but the green indicators have not reset. What is the easiest way to reset them.

I think it says "oil life reset to 100%" mine never it showed oil ....
Yep, did my first oil change last weekend and it states something very similar in the owners at it in engineering mode? Honestly I don't recall.
