Hey everyone, I am an oil painter, i recently did a piece about 2 weeks ago and someone is interested to buy that. so my question is one should wait about 6 months min to varnish a painting, so is it ok to send the painting without varnishing.

Varnishing is really optional a painting clearly....

Hello,
I am starting a still-life oil painting class. I plan to begin in January (possibly Feb, depends). Looking for 4-5 students max to cram into small space.
The class will be on a monthly tuition basis: $250 a month.

What kind of medium? If your paint is drying too quickly add a bit of linseed oil to your mix.

I actually use my fingertip to acrylics....
Of the oil painting products deemed so "toxic" are no more so than automobile anti-freeze, motor oil, oven from the ravages of "oil paint"? I just wash it off my hands before I eat.

I use an oil based primer worried about not being able to cover up the old painting with the new paint layers, also whether description, I would not reuse them....
Down is not always needed, it depends on how thick the paint is.

Never practice on your final, don't mess with....
Before you paint your parts, paint something else to check everything.
On down the road from using oil based paint in the gun....But again the finish came out awesome Jim I'm%.
