Had it on my mustang, before i ended up putting everything back to stock. it kept a decent amount of oil from recirculating back into the upper plenum. took me about 5 minutes. i used an oil seperator from lowes, and i used two barbed fittings to connect...

This 3 way valve prevents pressurization....
That is actually an older Ford part that is a 3 way valve Dinan uses with the stock cyclone separator crankcase vent valve, along with a modified small equipment fuel filter in the hose to the blower inlet tube .

Hello, looking for someone that might have been through this before.
I have about 160K on my wifes escape and a burning oil smell has started to be noticed when stopped etc. It doesnt drop bad to the ground but after looking the engine it's got oil front...

Tom I have exactly the same problem and finally.
Such as the ad seen on TV with Mike Rowe where Ford is selling oil changes and the mechanic shows him oil that has turned into sludge.

My engine doesnt have much left of the stock parts so the directions i have found aren't clear for the hose routing. this is what ive came up with going by what ive seen and would like confirmation or input if something is wrong.

Anyone ever made one?? Or are they too complicated? Logical place (easy cleanup) to wash the tractor and vehicles drains in to the public sewer. Was wondering if it would be an affordable project to do a seperator before it goes into the main drain going...

After resealing ths oil pan twice I finally found this forum. I'm looking to either re-seal or replace the oil seperator plate. Should I pull the tranny or engine? I have a tranny jack and can get a engine hoist. I also have some sort of electrical issue...

The oil separator plate is a stamped sheetmetal one if you buy.
Use genuine subaru headgaskets.

While looking on grimmspeeds web site for ported headers ,i ran into thier air/oil seperator.Seems to have a similar design as the prova..Does anybody have any experience with it??Any info would be appreciated.

Grimmspeed makes great stuff and seeing that they are in Minnesota they probably designed... .
Maybe they had some local vehicles using it before they put it into production .
Not sure if anybody has had a chance to test it out yet .

There is more maintenance involved....
I use a catch-can so I can see how much oil is being caught in the can over time.
Oil in the combustion problems.
This mod potentially help my engine life? An AOS keeps oil out of the intake tract.
