Question for those that own the new LR4: I have heard a fearsome rumor that on the LR4 the new motor has to have the oil change done at the dealer. Apparantly dealers have to invest in a $4K oil change suction machine to do the job. I think it is also...

First oil change is not due for 15k or one year, whichever That is an interesting turn of events....
As far as the oil change goes, that was mentioned by someone on here a while back.
It does not appear there is room for a second battery.

Every time I start the car in the cold, it shakes pretty badly. It will smooth out after a few seconds of driving but during those few seconds it will usually hesitate on the throttle. After that everything is fine.

Are these all current codes properly.
Having a weak battery will cause phantom codes.
Of coolant would cloud up the oil & it would be lightened in color and can whip up air bubbles, & have what comes back.

Your voltage is dropping while the engine is running. The battery is being drained for spark and other electrical loads. Either the alternator isn't functioning (could be the harness) or there's a loose connection. Take alternator to a shop that can bench...

ScOObz, I don't remember if 97s had em, but check under your battery tray and see if have a temp sensor for the battery..
The battery is being drained.

If it's still 6v, I would recommend an Optima 6v battery.
As for the battery, is your system 6v or 12v? If it's 12v, any good battery will work just fine.

Drove to work this morning with no problems, come to the van to come home n the battery lights on before ive even got in it, n the batterys flat, if i put the ignition on it goes off when the ignition lights are on, got a couple of lads to bump me off...
