I was driving back home tonight and was slowing for a roundabout when the power steering went and on the dash the oil light and battery light came on. The engine was still ticking over so i pulled to the side of the road ...

Hi all,
Been working on mounting my Ballistic EVO2 16 cell battery in my oil tank tray.
The only way I can mount the battery due to room constraints is flush against the oil tank. Was wondering if the battery will melt or be heat affected by sitting flush...

I got a raw stainless pat kennedy oil tank in the new bike..
Well , i paid 700.00 for a custom made aluminum oil tank thats black powdered for my chopper..

My LX188 has a both battery and oil light coming on. The will come on and off and not always at the same time.
The unit has a new battery and I have not check the charging yet when running, correct me if I'm wrong, but should I see a 1 to 2 volt increase...

Hal Do you know what the oil pressure....
The sending unit may be defective.
I would install a pressure gauge to see what the oil pressure is.
Should see 14.0-14.5 volts across the battery terminals with the engine at 1/2 throttle or better.

The battery voltage should be 12.6 not running.
