I drew a template up, and had a machine shop make me two of them. They are 1/4th inch thick. I will weld them to the c-notch, and then bolt the c-notch the frame. Do you think the c-notch should also be welded to the frame? The truck is an 87.

I wouldn't weld the notch to the frame....
I wouldn't weld the notch to the frame, when ever you weld lots of people that just put the notch and thats all.
It self you should never have any issues.

Hi,
Was wondering what everyone's opinion was on full length headers for a stock 87 SS. Looking to run true duals with no cats. Would like to have something that fits well with possibly an O2 inlet.

Well, got the canton reservoir and guess what....it won't fit My intercooler is in the way. Looks like I have a nice tank for the trans am then. I'm going to fab my own tank, a mirror image of the tank on the drivers side.
