On the ornamentsRonny: I have hundreds of vintage ornaments, some in not-so-great condition.
Mica or 'snow' on the ornament as these materials pick up fibres from the cotton.

It's safe if you use a water/bleach mixture and then let the ornaments dry completely thing that might happen depending on your ornament is it could take the color off.
Bleach them.
