From the av in the hv40...and scart adapter into the vhs player...( tried the other way but the vhs player only had red and white no yellow.)
Put the camera in pause mode, played the vhs tape.

Anyone still doing this? I've heard about people recording audio from vinyl/CD to cassette or VHS, and then sampling the cassette/VHS into sampler of choice.
