I just recently bought a 1980 trans am that got rod knock on the third day of having it.
It has a 403 in it and it's going to have to be rebuilt and I'm just wondering if I had the chance would it be worthwhile to just get a Pontiac 4...

Looking for a posi for '58-64 Olds/Pontiac. Can be whole third member (pumpkin), posi unit or empty posi differential case. Can need repair. Either spline, but 29 preferred so I don't have buy axles.
