I'm looking to fill the gap in my NEX kit between my two most used lenses (OM 24/2 and Leica Summicron-R 90). While not huge lenses, I'd like to find something smaller in the 40-60 range. I've tried the SMC-M 50/2 and 50/1.4, the Minolta Rokkor 45/2. ...

The title says it all for the nex 5N and also the 7 which would you recommend?
The Canon Fd 24mm 2.8 or the Olympus OM 24 2.8
or of course any other suggestions (that won't give the bank manager a total heart attack!)
Cheers Guys

Hard question to answer I'm interested f2.8 is where Zuiko OM may have Canon matched optically.

I now have a set of Zuiko lenses: 24/2.8, 50/1.4, 85/2 and 135/3.5. Got myself an adapter (ebay) and it works fine with my 24, 50 and 135 lenses. No go with the 85... nowhere near infinity.... order myself a Rainbow Imaging adapter.... different results...

Tested it against 3 om lenses to make sure.
I wish I had an OM mount camera to test and sand it down.
Before also, and has no dings/scratches/whatever.

I'm interested in this lens but the general consensus seems to agree that it isn't so great.
