I have some bananas that are over ripe and I have banana bread in the freezer. I would like to mash them and freeze them for later use. Do you freeze bananas? Someone told me you can't freeze bananas but I'm not sure why if I'm just going to use them ...

I use them for banana bread after frozen.
You will only want to cook with em.
Every dog but they are much easier to mush up when thawed .
House when you open a banana the dogs come running for a taste of it...they both love them.

Before I can eat or use a banana, I have to de-string it. Have to. I've talked to others (in my own family even!) who have never realized bananas had strings.
So do you or don't you de-string your bananas?

I like my me, but if I notice one, I'll remove it before eating the banana.
Kids destring and then cut a half inch off both ends of the banana for some weird reason.

Hi I run a non banana (70ps?) 1996 smiley and wouldn't mind more (some!) power.
What is it gives the later (banana) the extra 6ps?
A turbo would be nice but is quite involved.

We went to our local tailgate food give-away this morning and got 4 clear boxes of mini bananas. They are sooo cute! LOL. And still so green! So, I will set them aside for a couple of days until they ripen up a bit. I've never had the mini bananas before...

I was going post the same thing as The Muse and say they really do ripen VERY banana skin, your waste will be higher (you'll throw out a higher percentage than what you will eat.

Just got my order of monoprice banana plugs and totally disappointed. My 16AWG speaker wire comes right out of it, even after removing the color rings. I am going to return these. Just wondering what everyone else is using?

Which ones are you using? link? I have Monoprice banana plugs, the screw type, and 16AWG Monoprice speaker wire, and it works great...
