UPDATE: After solving the initial problem, the theme of this thread has now become "Project "Trigger's Broom" and follows the many repairs and replacements of my A1200.
I took a punt on a broken A1200 from eBay for a tenner. It hasn't arrived yet.

I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion in regards to my 68030 accelerator, for my A1200 tower.
I got the accelerator in 1998/1999 from the UK firm Eyeteck (makers of the A1200 PCI bridge-board/Amiga One). It has two 72pin slots (rather than one)....

Hi guys,
I need some help maybe i can be pointed in the right direction.
My Apollo 1240 had been working perfectly. No problems.
I opened up my A1200 and fitted a DCE Scanmagic and booted up fine and then it froze.
Would not boot, just a black screen....

And while your at it, try hot glueing it down afterwards is a 64mhz crystal,which would overclock....
Recap your A1200 board but you will have to make an adaptor.
Take the psu advice, converting a atx psu is not that hard or expensive .

There's nothing wrong if your Amiga electrocutes you from time and mercury never hurt anyone - nout out of the ordinary with licking your accelerator from time BY cancelling repairs and not returning the....
They need to redesign them also..
