I am having the same problem in Ubuntu Canon....
Opera mini 5.0 on BlackBerry, Opera 10.60 on Ubuntu, Opera mini 5.1 on Windows Mobile.
No such problems with Chrome of Firefox.
With the official Linux driver from Canon.
