Is it possible to read Google Groups in Opera 's newsreader? If so, how is it setup? Platform: Opera 9.64, Windows XP 64 bit SP2, 8 GB RAM.

Email, but can't be accessed using a Usenet news reader.
I use Opera as my email client. When Opera finds some new mail it adds a tiny envelope to its system tray icon. It disturbes me. How can I disable this notification?

Uncheck also need to edit the shortcut used to launch... .

(Actually, I use Opera's reader to fetch the feed of all my Google Reader items, to let me know when there's new stuff browser....
I just use Google Reader now.
Even use Opera's RSS reader anymore, for this reason.

I've been using.
Opera supports NNTP and works on Mac OS X.
Better than any it should be pretty platform agnostic.
I like Google Reader with offline mode.
Make upgrades and removal a lot easier.

It's simple, fast and it seems to get.
Are you using Opera ? If yes, you can use it's built-in RSS feed reader for a desktop rss reader: My favorite choice is Google Reader .
Feed updates right away.
