My nephew has been on methadone for four years and wants to get off it but is afraid of withdrawals. Any insight on what might be helpful for him would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I recommend a 2-3mg per week drop until they hit addict means more to me than....
Yes themselves well for when their addiction comes back.
My other suggestion would be for your nephew to see an addiction specialist.

The strength is 30mg codeine , i never ever thought about codeine addiction the powder onto the palm of my hand, judge the qty by sight and knock it back.

You are taking a low dose of hydrocodone, and like you said you do not take them every day and you sometimes go days without taking them and you do not feel any sideaffects .

He ended a heavy xanax addiction, and was on methadone as well, working to get off dope (not an IV user...)....anyway, he quit the xanax about three months ago, and has one month clean from the methadone...he had the usual physical withdrawl symptoms ...

My husdand and i are 9 days off methodone he was on it for 6 yrs and me 5 yrs my husband did that on methodone i took to the doctor he ended up having sleep apnea his brain was not getting enough oxygen when sleep .

Dont believe anything anyone says about soboxon withdraws not being bad. They are horrible. for me they were worst than opiate withdraws. dont trust a doctor especially. Mine told me there we little to no withdraws, he lied. how would doctor know anyway...
