I was at an orchid show down here in Miami this weekend, and I started to wonder if anyone grew orchids above they're aquariums. Has anyone done this over they're open top aquarium?

I got cheap, $12 orchids at WalMart last year, and two years before. And they keep coming back. I cut the shoots back just last August/September on one and it's already getting a new shoot.
Last year, my older one had three shoots on it by January, bloomed...

You don't have to plant the orchid directly in the substrate, you can provide you with better results....

In my opinion, you'll have a hard time getting orchids to thrive in a tarantula enclosure.
