It's a shame more people are not realizing the health benefits to eating natural and organic foods. I wish there were more coupons available for natural and organic foods. If anyone has any links or suggestions where to find some, please let me know. ...

The one week we actually did our grocery shopping at whole foods....
I would eat all organic but I cannot afford it.
However we can rarely afford out are for that type of food .
I like organic- food tastes better and is better for you.

Since I didn't see the chemical analysis on what the cows were fed or how the milk was processed, I can't see... .
I am not sure how much "organic" thing with a grain of salt.
And organic milk is about 2 dollars more depending on the brand.

I would also pack a couple of fun snacks: organic lollipop, fruit snacks, pretzels.
I try to go grocery shopping once per week, but sometimes I'll have to make a second quick trip a "fun" cart for DD1 --- a spaceship, car, whatever.
Did you know that they make mini triscuits for your salads now? They are so cute. I didn't buy them, but they are out there if you are interested. You get quite a few too for a serving, but you wouldn't need a whole serving on a salad. I just got back...

But that almost never included the sales on produce & protein at the regular... .
Check out couponmom dot com for sales I had coupons for and I would save around 50% at the grocery store.
Combined with sales, can really lower your grocery bill.

For sale at a grocery store.
Today's trip? $180. Even the 2 huge jugs of olive oil cannot account for this bill for a pretty typical grocery trip, which is usually $60-80. I was floored. Have you noticed a sudden hike lately?

If I plan right I can make the peppers, cukes, apples, etc for about 2 weeks out or more in some cases.. .

I don't do all organic by any means, but milk grosses me out as is, so I vote to have as much organic as....

We do buy a lot of organic foods, but not milk.
