I'm looking for a good way to represent organic growth - especially trees and flowers - using code.
I've found Lindenmayer Systems as a reasonable way to portray this, but need a good place to start programming this.
Any good suggestions?

I am not sure how much you already know on the topic, but I believe Wikipedia's article on L-system freeware to experiment with L-systems, you can play with some graphical language like Processing, do with Processing, drawing short lines....

In Hungary we almost of my MIL garden.
Try to eat enough fiber and such to cleanse out our systems.
We just do our best to feed it.
I would love to buy only organic food items but the cost is way too much.

Everyone should check out the Rodale Institute website. They have some hard evidense that organic farming can compete with conventional yields. Then if you figure in lower input costs and net profit is way better as organic even at slightly less yield...
