I almost always prefer the acoustic versions of songs, and, if there isn't an acoustic version, I'll make one. I just think that there's a level of purity and intimacy that is added through an acoustic guitar, and, I don't know, I just prefer it over ...

^Topic I think Ms. Jackson by the vines did a good job. Also, one of my fravorite would be The man who sold the world cover by Nirvana, and orignal is from David Bowie.

I always enjoy a cover song, especially when it's awesome. I love seeing different artists take songs they love and put their own twist on them, and it's even better when it's done in a completely different genre from the original. Here's 2 of my favorites...

Most artists stuck to the original format: a slow, acoustic ballad about a rather the cover better than the original....
The style doesn't fit right different artists.
