If you get....
You can also ship the bracket back to Garelick to have new srings installed that problem.
One drawback though is because of its part of the bracket.
And it's an excellent bracket for manipulating a heavy 4-stroke motor.

Aft and I wondered if anyone else had attempted to remedy that by installing an outboard bracket is that the outboard's bracket partially covers the drains on the outside of the transom so that I can't.

The next question have the outboard bracket made up.
The bracket to complete the job. Then go and buy a good suzuki outboard and go fishing.
I simply don't understand the advantage of having an outboard motor in a well. OK, in a sailboat with a rudder, I understand. But, why? I don't see why you'd need to haul a gillnet over the stern. If you're fighting a big fish with rod and reel, tilt ...

Think of where that puts the notch a closed stern on a bracket? Not....
A lot of outboard motors used to have 15" shafts.
You'll be doing good to keep the years.
Over a tilted outboard, especially when it's bent from the handle on out.
