If you look carefully you will see a Blue locking cable around the outboard motor mate.
By supplying photo's of the position and the support stand that holds the outboard 15 hp Yamaha.
I simply don't understand the advantage of having an outboard motor in a well. OK, in a sailboat with a rudder, I understand. But, why? I don't see why you'd need to haul a gillnet over the stern. If you're fighting a big fish with rod and reel, tilt ...

Its easier to stand above a small outboard and refill or maybe he just can't stand to look at the thing If none of these describes you, then put the outboard over a tilted ....
Interfere with the mainsheet horse and sheet.
I have a deal going to pick up a very unusual Clark outboard motor. This one has the engine cylinder, crankcase and internal parts located near the propeller -under water! No joke! -and the gas tank , ignition and air intake above board in the usual places...

I read of this engine in "the old outboard book Brian, I had a chance to take pictures of a Clarke "Trolller" outboard a few years ago.
They do have a website.
