There definitely are several other outlets, but only one of them has something plugged into it (an emergency flashlight for power outages, ironically). I'm on the top floor of a 3-floor garden style condo.

A 15A breaker will trip after few hours at over 15A load .
I would not worry, worse that can happen is a tripped breaker if somebody uses a hairdryer in the same time, house won't get in fire and an grill is not a continuous load .

Have you checked them with an outlet tester? They are handy to have and only about $10-15.
