Just turned on my machine and OE isn't working? Help.
Outlook Express opens, hard drive makes same repeated noise, then up comes Microsoft message i.e. send - don't send notification. Have to shut down OE.

I reinstalled XP over an existing installation using a different username (by mistake).

I've had this snag - see my postings in this forum under "Laptop Locking Up" and "Outlook Express - that the slowness of opening I.E was similarly reflected in slowness in loading Outlook Express.

I am not sure if you found a solution but, why don't you try loading
Otlook 2007 or Office 2007 disc and running the install. Once it loads
click on the repair option...

This system has Win2k SP4 installed. Has worked great for months. Now the owner is getting the error message, " Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be loaded" I believe it is a registry problem but I do not know how to fix....

We can get to websites okay, but do not get a full load of a website with images. On a very occasional basis, one will come through - like about 1-2% of the time. Otherwise, we get the message at the bottom such as "4 items remaining" and it will show...
